High-Pressure Drain Jetting in London
The most effective method for stubborn, recurring, or grease-related drain blockages. Our engineers use professional-grade jetting equipment to clean drains properly.
📞 Call 020 8050 8258Rodding clears a blockage. Jetting cleans the pipe.
Drain rods can break up a blockage and get the drain flowing again — but they don’t remove the build-up coating the pipe walls. Over time, that build-up causes the same blockage to come back. High-pressure jetting scours the inside of the pipe, removing grease, scale, and debris from wall to wall, leaving the drain genuinely clear.
If your drains block repeatedly, jetting is usually the solution that stops the cycle.
What Drain Jetting Removes
- Fat and grease build-up — the most common cause of kitchen drain and sewer blockages
- Scale and mineral deposits — particularly in older London properties with harder water
- Tree root intrusion — jetting can cut back root growth inside pipes (combined with CCTV to assess damage)
- Compacted debris and silt — in outside drains, manholes, and storm drains
- Soap scum — accumulated in bathroom waste pipes over time
- Leaf and garden debris — from blocked gullies and outside drains
When We Recommend Jetting
Not every blockage needs jetting — our engineers will recommend the right approach. We suggest jetting when:
- The same drain has blocked more than once in the past year
- Rodding has cleared it before but the blockage has returned
- There’s significant grease build-up in a kitchen or commercial drain
- An outside drain or manhole is heavily silted
- A CCTV survey shows root intrusion or heavy scale
- Multiple drains are slow at the same time, suggesting a shared sewer issue
What to Expect
- Call for a quote — we’ll ask a few questions about the drain type, location, and history. Fixed price where possible.
- Engineer arrives with jetting equipment — our vans carry professional-grade high-pressure jetting units.
- Jetting carried out — the engineer accesses the drain, inserts the jetting hose, and works through the pipe. Most residential jobs take 30–60 minutes.
- Clear and clean — once complete, the drain is tested to confirm clear flow. We’ll advise on any follow-up (e.g. CCTV if root damage is suspected).
Residential and Commercial Drain Jetting
We carry out drain jetting for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, and property managers across London. We also work with small commercial premises — restaurants, takeaways, and retail units frequently need jetting due to grease build-up.
For larger commercial sites or planned maintenance contracts, call us to discuss requirements.
